District receives Grant Funds

In conjunction with the Virgin Valley Water District’s Treatment Plant 35 project, an Environmental Assessment (EA) was conducted. The District is in line to receive $3,040,000 in grant funds for the project. The project aims to provide treatment for two wells that have already been drilled. The combined flow from those two wells running through the treatment plant is 4,400 gallons per minute. This treatment plant, with the two wells, would provide additional source capacity for the water users of the valley.
