Water Master Plan
As implied by the designation, a Master Plan is intended to provide an overview of the water utility’s six major component areas. If deficiencies exist, the Plan should identify and evaluate alternatives for necessary improvements to maintain the required level of service. A summary of recommended improvements, accompanied with budgetary cost estimates, allow water system managers to anticipate future revenue requirements.
This Master Plan update is intended to serve the Virgin Valley Water District (District) in planning for future improvements. This report updates the previous Water System Master Plan prepared by Bowen, Collins & Associates (BC&A) in March 2017 and should allow the District to continue providing a high level of service to residents within the District’s service area. In each of the subsequent chapters major system components are evaluated for their current and future service capabilities.
