These documents provide more detailed information about the Water District’s infrastructure, finances, and future plans. Besides the water professionals directly employed by the District, we also employ the services of outside professional engineering, accountants, and other advisors to help the Water District obtain the most timely and accurate information available.
As implied by the designation, a Master Plan is intended to provide an overview of the water utility’s six major component areas. If deficiencies exist, the Plan should identify and evaluate alternatives for necessary improvements to maintain the required level of service. A summary of recommended improvements, accompanied with budgetary cost estimates, allow water system managers to anticipate future revenue requirements.
This Master Plan update is intended to serve the Virgin Valley Water District (District) in planning for future improvements. This report updates the March 2020 version of the Water System Master Plan and should allow the District to continue providing a high level of service to residents within the District’s service area. In each of the subsequent chapters major system components are evaluated for their current and future service capabilities.
